Sitting on the beach
Just staring at my feet.
Actually as I take in nature's sounds
I'm looking all around
I see is my past
The memories I thought would never last
I see my present in some
Wondering what journey they've come.
I see my future walking by
Grand kids running as I sigh.
Life goes by so fast
It's nice sitting on this beach watching my future, present and past.
